I would imagine the concussion protocol at the WJ is just as strict as it is in the nhl?!

So far, it seems to me Necas and Chytil the difference makers for the Czechs, I'd give Chytil a slight edge because I'm biased but he also seems to be doing more at ES while Necas is making a huge difference on the power play. Zadina seemed timid in the first but has been carrying that line at ES in the second. And Safin has been decent, but nothing like the big 3.

Edit: Chytil scores while I was typing

The russians are terrible. At least since I started to watch.

This is a bad year for them.

Their best defenseman is in the NHL, their second best defenseman is injured. Their goaltending kind of sucks this year, although the guy they are playing today probably shouldn't have even made their roster. They have some talented forwards, but Bragin coaches too by the book to really take advantage of his team being very forward heavy. Why does he have two defensemen on the PP and why are their best wingers playing on such balanced lines with grinders? Some of their best forwards are barely even getting onto the PP, he seems to keep full lines together for PP's.

Sounds like a coach we all know...
Just a bit too familiar

By the way, is Svechnikov playing? No one from Russia is jumping off the screen for me.

#14. He made a really nice pass to one of his teammates that could've been a goal, but the guy didn't get great contact on the shot. He's playing with a grinder and an undersized winger who's not really any good.

Zadina gets to play in the top six, Svechnikov plays on the third line and has to carry the line. Bragin is not putting Svechnikov in a good position to succeed.
