Ticket prices too high......USA Hockey took a gamble that people would pay whatever they charged and that gamble didn't payoff.

In the coming years they will either get wise to this and drop ticket prices or they won't and attendance will suffer.

I do find it embarrassing that the US can't sellout the building in their home country. How come they don't try Minny, Boston, Detroit, or Chicago for the US?

Well considering that like half the US roster is from St. Louis, MO that would make an awful lot of sense. But they lost out to Buffalo for whatever reason.

In a 7 game series I think USA would crush Sweden with their heavy cycle and forecheck but in a single game I think Sweden has the talent to get a win

No idea....but I think people were turned off by initial prices and don't care enough to look at stub hub etc. for game day tickets

No real scoring chances for USA, but Sweden is constantly out of time.

Buffalo is a border city.....that is 100% the reason it got the tourney over St. Louis, Tampa etc

Attendance isn't good but it's a Thursday at 4pm, not everyone can easily take a day off to go to a hockey game.

I hate that they are wearing these awful Bills jerseys again.

Still though, even if it was a 8pm game I have my doubts attendance would be that much better
