Looks like the Finnish pessimists prevail.

Better than being an optimist when the team has performed like they did. Literally. I'm happier right now despite losing because I knew I was right. It still isn't the same as winning - losing f***ing blows. Hard.
There was pretty much nothing to support a gold medal finish after the group stage.

To be fair to finland, they did dominate the game. Czechs did what they had to do to beat a stronger opponent and you have to respect that

Juolevi and Jokiharju were the best defenseman for finland. Heiskanen very disappointing to say the least. Very minimal offensive showing from him.

Tolvanen also kept shooting at the goalies crest. doesn't matter how hard of a shot you have, if you're not accurate then it's useless.

Finland got what they ultimately deserved. A very stacked team but lacked quality scoring and defence. Don't know who to blame this time.

There were justified complaints about the Czech goaltending, and Kořenář just stole the game from Finland. QF is a specific game indeed. Don't understand why the Finnish fans criticize their team so harshly. I think Finland played great, they had many scoring chances, it was just about the Czech goalie having even greater day. With an average Czech goaltending, Finland would surely go through.

Like i said our goalie wasn't enough to success in this competition. Difference in goalies was huge. Congratulations Czech! If your goalie gives at least one easy goal per game with under 0,90 saving percentage and you don't change him at any point of tournament, then you can only blame coach about looss.

Was it in the OT that he was looking like he was going to deke through the opposing team and then just gave the puck away unforced? I really don't get what he was doing out there. He looked so much better in senior national team.
