The Russians are outplaying Sweden so far but the mental errors are mind-numbing and monumental. Defensemen like Samorukov and Syomin skating away from the front of the net to let Swedish forwards walk in by themselves. Keep Maltsev off the ice and double-shift Kostin, Rubtsov and Kayumov instead. They are really forechecking the Swedish defense hard, which is the right way to make the Swedes break down. Stop f***ing around and use your brains out there! The question is: how many goals will they give up being 2 men short for 1:47. If we lose tonight, we will have to play the USA in the elimination round. Bon voyage!

I don't think Russia outplayed Sweden at all. In number of shots maybe, but almost all of them weren't that dangerous. Swedish D screwed up twice on bouncy pucks and it's 2-2. As for the Russian D, it's a trainwreck. Swedish bottom 3 D are playing bad, but not that bad.
