Finns can't finish 4th. They have tiebreaker over Slovakia by virtue of their win yesterday. They will presumably play the Czechs, unless Russia wins tonight, then they'll play Russia.Sweden or czech rep
Russia would have to lay an absolute clowning on Sweden for GD to come in to play. We're talking a Denmark like clowning. If Sweden gets even a point from Russia (a win or tie in regulation), we're going to get the Czechs. If Russia wins in regulation, then SWE or CZE, depending on GD.
Sweden defeated the Czechs in their round robin game, isn't that the first tie breaker? So even if the Swedes lost in regulation, they'd finish higher in the standings?

If Russia beats Sweden it's a 3 way tie with 3 points each in h2h games. Russia wins by 1 Russia is 2nd, Russia wins by 2 or 3 Sweden is 2nd, Russia wins by 4+ the Czechs are 2nd
Nope, because there will be a three-way tie. The Czechs beat Russia, Russia beat Sweden (in said scenario) and Sweden beat the Czechs.Sweden defeated the Czechs in their round robin game, isn't that the first tie breaker? My bad, that makes more sense.it's h2h goal differential, not total goal differential. Sweden clowning Belarus and Switzerland doesn't come into play here. Sweden is currently +2 as they beat CZE by 2. Russia is -1 as they lost to CZE by 1. If Russia wins by 2 they're ahead of Sweden in h2h GD

Finland can't face Russia no matter what, because they're +5, Sweden is +4 and the Czechs are +3, so if they beat Sweden in regulation, they'll go on to win the group. Then places 2-3 will be decided by which of SWE or CZE has the better GD. No clownings needed.
Yeah, I get that. Maybe you mixed some quotes?Again it's h2h goal differential, not total goal differential. In a 3 way RUS/CZE/SWE tie Russia is -1, Sweden +2, Czech -1. If Russia wins in regulation by 1 then Russia finishes 2nd and plays Finland
I'd agree if Juolevi and Jokiharju didn't just have a great game. I'd like them to stay together. Heiskanen and Valimaki looked okay before this game, just had a bad night.Heiskanen and Valimaki need to be split up
Yeah, I get that. Maybe you mixed some quotes?
Starman is such a simpleton
Did I?so unless you didn't type "Finland can't face Russia no matter what, because they're +5, Sweden is +4 and the Czechs are +3" then I have the quote right
Did I?
There's no edit tag. So either I never did or I realized my error so fast your schooling me was pointless anyway. If you want to edit your post retroactively and pretend it was never there go for it.
Pretty much confirmed what someone said earlier
Valimaki and Heiskanen got destroyed. They couldn't get the puck out of their own zone.
Juolevi and Jokiharu were playing really well.

Only one here who seems to be confused is you. Yes, I got things a little mixed up at first, but I realized my error *before* you decided to give me a lecture on it. That's all I'm saying.Don't forget to edit this post as well, wouldn't want anyone getting confused
Goaltending has absolutely been a problem. It's not the only problem but of the 10 goals we've allowed I'd say 8 of them were stoppable and 5 of them flat out bad.
I love Starman. He's a good dude who loves the sport. He's insufferable.
