Its done in every outdoor game. It is to make it fair for the teams. Skating 1 way all the time could be an advantage for 1 team and a disadvantage for another.
I don't forgive hypocrites that easily.Forgive him, he is an overly patriotic American. So much so he probably has stars and stripes underwear.
I'm arguing that what Comtois did, is done a dozen times a game. The difference here was how the contract was received. Just look at how Makar went in to get the puck just before the commercial break.
That’s just wasted opportunities though, you can have all the odd man rushes in the world but if you aren’t getting shots on net what does it matter? You can’t score if you don’t shoot.
It isn't done EVERY outdoor game. It's only done it conditions are unfavorable.

And he let up, its not like he was going full speed and put him into the boards with his shoulder.
Not always, if you have support, yes. If you are trying to win the puck battle as the lone forechecker, you aren't going to wrap up the defensemen, you are going to take him into the boards. It's not like Comtois tired to put him through the boards.
I mean, I've seen it happen in the NHL, and I've seen it result in penalties. If Comtois were closer to the boards when he made the play, I'd probably agree with you, but from there he's just asking for trouble.

So every outdoor game lol.
Normally I'd agree but it's been such a sloppy game it doesn't really matter how it endsI really, really don't want this to end in a shootout.
Wait, there are people actually arguing that wasn't a penalty?

Is it just me or do Canadian forwards look like they aren't even trying this period?
