Fear is the mind-killer.
Snow looks much lighter from the centre ice and behind the net cams. The normal camera catches all the snow between.
This made me LOL.2 minutes into the period and the ice is already almost unplayable. Glad the IIHF guy from Barcelona, Spain is here managing things though! I'm sure he really knows his hockey.
I'm sure they explained it at the same time they mentioned they weren't doing it, but why aren't they flooding the ice between periods?
Anyone not having that problem??Anyone else having a tough time tracking the puck from the side angle? Lol

I wish they would just stick with that angle. I can’t see the puck most of the time. Just trying to figure out from body language and positions who the puck carrier isSnow looks much lighter from the centre ice and behind the net cams. The normal camera catches all the snow between.
I grew up further south than where that game is being held, where it snows even more. You adapt.
It's a team game. Play as a team till the end. Making a team game an uncontested battle between individuals does not determine which team is better.
If you don't think playing outdoors decides which team is better but think that shootouts do, I'd like to witness the mental gymnastics needed for that.
It's like a natural canopy.Tim Hunter's nose is preventing the snow from landing on the rest of his body.
