Thankfully, you couldn’t miss noticing Dahlin even if they were speaking his name backwards.

He’s such a smooth skater. Reminds me a little bit of how Niedermayer skated, with the economy of motion. It’s like he knows how many strides he needs to take, and he won’t waste energy on more. Just very efficient and controlled.

Funny you mention Neidermayer I was thinking the same thing earlier this game.

Yeah. Like he has such nice hands and playmaking, but sometimes he just makes the weirdest passes/giveaways/just doesn't compete in his own end. I have no idea why. Its like each shift is rolling the dice. Guy is so talented too. So odd.

Hockey fans like hockey. I don't really see how Canadians(regardless of NHL fandom, I don't see why that matters, there's just as many Oilers, and Canucks fans in here too) watching and commenting on this game is a bad thing. Maybe you didn't mean it that way IDK. Most of these threads have more Canadians than the countries playing in them.

His skating style is almost a carbon copy of OEL, right down to the stature, don't see the Neidermayer comparison though

It’s the efficiency of it. Niedermayer was a bit smoother, and he always had a deep knee bend. Dahlin skates, taller I guess is the way to describe it. There just isn’t much wasted motion.

It’s hard to describe. He seems to take one stride for every two another player would take.
