Only been watching a couple of minutes but It's pretty worrying they can't score on any of these PP's or that they only have 4 goals on what must be close to 70 shots.

Nvm, I guess they have 61 shots but nonetheless

4 goals on 60 shots seems like a normal Finnish goal efficiency, paying homage to the men's team!

I saw the game. Made some good plays but took too many shots that wasnt dangerous.
You also said you haven't seen a worse team than Denmark in +30 years, [MOD]

Props to Denmark for blocking shots late in the 3rd when the game was clearly lost for them. Showed a lot of heart.

I only watched part of the 3rd but it looked like Team Finland was doing their best Carolina Hurricanes impression today.

FIN-DEN shots 62-7 result 4-1
DEN-USA shots 17-36 result 0-9

Bad game from us. Too slow game. Bad angle shots. Too little goalie screening. Bad passing - often straight on the skates. I`m disappointed with the overall-game. There were also quite a few bad turnovers from us. I take the win, but there is still much to do if we wanna succeed this year.

Finland's powerplay is f***ing sad.
There's No skill, No shots, No playmakers, No puck-movers absolutely brutal.

These ''powerplay'' lineups are each useless sack of shits.
Denmark needed one powerplay to score a powerplay goal meanwhile Finland needs 15 to 20 powerplays to score one f***ing goal.

When Finland's powerplay is this brutal right now what it'll be in quarterfinals?.
This powerplay makes me cry for pain.

Tolvanen reminds too much J-M Aaltonen right now.
His shots missing net too often his supposed to be one of the best goal-scorers in entire tournament but now he isn't nothing.

He's also got shutted-down twice now and his only points are 0+2 that's brutal.
If Marjamäki use these games as a pre camp for Olympics i'm not sure at all does Tolvanen deserve being in Olympic team with these showings.

Here's a fun stat:

Tolvanen - 11 shots.

The entire Denmark team - 7 shots.

One player with more SOGs than the entire opposing team. Not something you see every day, at least on this level.

How do you mess up player of the game that bad. Krug had 57 saves.
Yep. Amazing job by him. Blame scoring efficiency or whatnot you like but considering the dumpster team that was completely outmatched, he displayed some true heroics. And had a few actually great saves.

You really appreciate what that 2016 team was now, spoiled these junior tournaments for me. It's not like there aren't big prospects on the teams last year and this year but there's no finish.

Yeah that team (or the top line) was something we may not see again in the next 10-20 years. Never say never though.

Well it was denmark. Lets see how he does against the US

Yeah it was.
But if Finland continues this way in Slovakia and USA games they'll be serious troubles.
If Slovakia won't humiliate Finland USA will. Despite of the Denmark win i see still Finland facing early exit in the quarterfinals if they can't do massive improvements on their powerplay.
