Gabrielle Daleman looked gorgeous yesterday, and man did she perform well. Her personal or seasonal best I believe.

Watched every ladies' performances and that Russian girl (Alina Zagitova) was unbelievable. Machine on skates.
The crazy thing is that Zagitova might not even be the best out there.

Her and Medvedeva are on a whole other level. In the single competitions, the rest of the women will basically be competing for bronze while these two take gold and silver unless a catastrophe happens.

This curling à deux is weird. Canada did not consider it very seriously before last fall. And look at the results. They walloped the world champs.

Morris and Lawes barely played as a pair. They got together for the Canadian trials, won, and now they're olympic champs. Mixed doubles were enjoyable.

Name dropping: met Morris on 8th Avenue in NYC way back when. Random meet on the street. Nice chap..

Just read that Boutin had to close her social media accounts, because she got tons of death threats from South Koreans. Let's remember that she won because of the disqualification of a...South Korean skater.

When I watched the highlights Boutin got was interfered with in the final and semi final heats. If they want to blame someone blame their skater.

Edit: It just goes to show that people, in general, are stupid.

"people in general are stupid"

??

I take offense to that. Most all of my family, friends and co workers are "people" ;)

I have yet to see the highlight of Boutins 3rd/4th place finish. Or the infraction? Was it obvious? I have heard conflicting reports.

Really?? Is that the best Brodeur and Burke can come up with? Men’s Team Canada will get crushed. They won’t even make it to the elimination round

Russia gets Gold
USA gets Silver
Czech Republic gets Bronze
