with the time difference it is hard to keep up-to-date with the Olympics. After a dreadful year in Montreal sports (habs, Impact, Alouettes...the only bright spot are Les Canadiennes). It is good to have a favorite team do well. Go Canada go!
I know for the past 3 days almost all all of the medal events with Canadians in contention tend to be either late evening (so 8-9pm) or early morning (so 6-7am). Which isn't bad.
There haven't been many 1-5am finals so far. Example for tonight/tomorrow, here's what i'm looking forward to, all watchable if you wake up early:
Curling Final - 6am
Luge Final womens - 3rd run starts at 530am (likely ends closer to 630-7)
Short Track speed skating finals for women's 500m - 707am
Men's speed skating 1500m - 6am
And the snowboarding Half-Pipe final for women is at 9pm tonight (no canadians though).
So so far the time difference hasn't been too bad. Hoping it stays this way.
