Gah...well, the US definitely deserved the win...Can't believe Canada seemed to play not to lose...

You can't cut a bench down so much in a 20:00 4 v 4.
We needed some young legs out there #7 up front and #14 back end.
The go to girls were dead tired by the time we got that late PP.

If you go back to that 2 on 1 that we botched, that went the other way leading to the tying goal, seriously, I've never seen a worse decision in my life. That was the game right there. After that, no legs. And MPP did not impress when left as the best forward, next to Agusta, particularly after the hit rattled her (ironically). The D... oh the D handling the puck. Why does every team I cheer for give me defensive headaches?

Daoust (sp? or am I just going by the Dry Cleaners?) was a bright spot, not just the shootout.

Just remembered that I pulled that Lamoureux move on a breakaway at beer league last week. Goalie bit into it big time, slid out of the crease... then I tried to slide the puck in and missed the net by a couple of inches :biglaugh:

I'm a regular Colby Armstrong :sarcasm:

Terribly disappointed Schuler didn't give MPP a second shot in the second round of the SO instead of Agosta. MPP is advertised as the unequivocally best player in women's hockey; they should have given her another shot. I remember Babcock spamming Crosby 3 times in the SO against the Swiss in the preliminaries in Vancouver even after Crosby missed his first attempt.

If you're picking a team and you can't trust those players in 4 on 4 overtime, then maybe you should re-think your choices.

This was Therrien level coaching.

Not playing Fast, Stacey, Saulnier and Turnbull in the OT was idiotic, the OT was all about speed and space, their younger, fastest players didn't touch the ice.

I was so angry at the coaching. I stayed up despite working 3 hours later. Not worth it.

Defence looked chaotic too. Like Jordie Benn and Karl Alzner. Couldn’t even make simple passes.

Koe loses. Canadian curling dominance is over. Sad. It will be a hot topic at the curling club where I play this Friday.

So many anticipated medals slipping away. Women's hockey, curling, speed skating. Well at least Boutin was there.

I'm still of the belief that Gushue's team would have won it. I love Gushue's team. Can't stand Hebert. He annoys me.
