Pulju + 10 would be tough since I still think Jesse has a lot of time to put things together. But if that's what it takes to get the guy with a very good shot at being our hometown kid #1d, I do it 10 times out of 10.

If we are moving the 10th pick it needs to be for an established player, no Reinhart like trades. If we strike out on trading for a good defenseman then make the ****ing pick.

What would you think about a Reinhart like trade (actually decent prospect though) but we move down in the first round.

I haven't followed Honka too closely, but if he's a quality NHL defense prospect and is NHL ready (for real ready, not Reinhart ready) I'd consider it depending on who is available at 10.

If conversations are happening it means teams are interested in players that MAY be available at 10 a trade doesn’t happen till we see what happens in the first 9 Bouchard at 10 would make teams more interested in a d swap because they are getting a future d. The reality is these trades can’t happen till the other gms know exactly what they are getting. Good part is if chia has got a fair bit of interest and the players people want are available he could get a bidding war going.

If Bouchard is sitting there at 10th it's a no brainer you make the pick and have your future stud on a ELC
