The hardest thing for me was watching Liiga games. For one they start anywhere from 10am to 12pm here so forget most weekday games. Then there's the fact the only available streams looked like they were filmed with potatoes. But of course everything sounds more exciting in Finnish, specially from Pori's pbp guy.

Atleast MHL games were decent to good quality on YT and you can skip alot of the bs.
We have that bum NP to fill us in

Expecting Kirby Dach to fight Hughes for 1st overall next year. Should have a big draft year. Good year for WHL in general. Need @Stive Morgan to keep us up to date!

Also Alex Turcotte is the son of former Montreal 1st rder Alfie Turcotte, who busted, so hope his kid has a better career.

1983. Damn, I remember that draft, because it was the one where the Habs drafted Tretiak. The next 2 picks after Alfie were Claude Lemieux & Sergio Momesso.

Unless they got top 10 picks Montreal's 1st round picks really really sucked in the '80s, but they were outstanding outside of the 1st.

Cozens too! Kotkaniemi this year and one of the top centers next year.

2019 is going to be super exciting for the WHL, probably one of the best drafts for them in 20 years. Dach, Cozens, Foote, Byram, Krebs, Mutala, Wolf, Maier, Korzcak, Robertson, Williams, Barlage, Hamaliuk, Toporowski, van de Leest, Morisseau, oh my goodness!

Can't wait to see what Mitch Love does with Dach. He's such an incredible coach.

You've got to give Dobson credits for what he has done in the past week. He could have decline the physical testings but decided to go anyway. Can't wait to see the results. Dobson's definitly has the good attitude. He also said he is going to be in San Diego all summer to work with his physical trainer all summer. Shows a lot of dedication and he is really lanky.... Lot of potential...... Big riser for me since the middle of the season. He is getting in my top 4...

Compared to Quinn Hughes who decided not to participate and find a way to criticize Brady Tkachuk for working out for the past 6-8 weeks because apparently "his team" knocked them out in early March. And he also states that he basically didn't work out much in the season in Michigan because they prefer resting to win games.. okay.

Curious if anyone has Tkachuk's numbers pre and post WJC. At his combine interview he said that he had an adjustment period after starting slowly but really came on after the confidence he gained at the WJC...

The more I think about it, the more I think Svechnikov, Zadina, and Tkachuk are alot closer than this board thinks, and one of them is going to be a Hab.

Did the habs invite any player to Montreal after the combine last year?
Will they invite anyone this year?

Where's this all coming from?
