Then why trade Gaunce? One of the only Canucks who played heavy last year, is fine defensively, makes no sense. My wish list is as follows:
1. Matthew Peca
2 years at 1.3 per
2. Ryan Reaves
2 years at 2.3 per
3. Re-sign Archibald
2 years 2 way at 850k per and 350k per minors
Trade Gaunce for the love of god.
How does that help?
Gives our young guys insulation!! Let’s them play without fear. Haven’t had much toughness since Dorsett left.

Grabners success in NY is in large part due to AV’s system which is tailor made to speedy transition players
We don’t play the same system and Sutter can’t pass, highly doubt green wants the winger on his shut down line flying the zone
Fair enough. In the games I watched him he was connecting on hits and forechecking well. Also he is cost effective. I don't really expect anyone to drop the gloves these days, so that does not factor into my thinking.I think we have different opinions of heavy. Gaunce isn’t nearly agile enough or fast enough to actually connect on any hits.
He’s not tough so he doesn’t act as a deterrent.
I respectfully disagree, I would rather have a Reaves flying along side Gaudette then Gaunce.

Jay Beagle would be a good sign, perfect 4th line C.
I do think Canucks should wait until next season and go all in on Karlsson.
Everyone who got a seat at the table is better right now anyways. We wouldn't have gotten far.
Rousell or Reaves come on down I guess ?
@hoyhoy42
Peca?
5'8 - 175?
With Hughes and Pettersson also possibly making the team.
Why not get the 135lb rusissian we drafted here in October as well.
I guess the team bonding event this year isnt going to happeb at Playland since half the team cant ride the rollercoaster
