Neither, I think, will most GM's. Esp since Bob (rumor) was looking at 8M per . I thought given this is a contract year and he's on the market, he'd come out strong, he finished the year really good .But he still has the 'bright lights big city' virus when the playoffs start.

Well, the ultimate scenario is Calgary’s tandem shits the bed, Bob continues to struggle, Carolina is not satisfied with their tandem after getting bounced, or one of the non-playoff teams has an owner that is itching to jump start the team and tells his GM to upgrade between the pipes (Hello Buffalo!). :laugh:

You never know, it just takes one GM to make the call. Desperate times.

Bob is reverse-Quick, I've been saying that some time.

In a perfect world you just trot Bob out all season then Quick for the playoffs!
 
BJ's just tied the game on a shortie...a beauty. 3-3 with 7 and half left.

Bob has been great thru the last 2 periods. Shame he got off to a slow start.
 
great comeback by Columbus. Props to Bob for manning up for the last 2 periods. Savard played a helluva game ,, JOnes was great (have always been a fan of his game)

That collision into the boards did not look good for Gudbranson. Got tangled up with Anders Lee.

This has been a great start to the playoffs, a lot of fun so far. Liked the come back by the Blue Jackets and have been enjoying the Pens-Isles as well. Both series so far have been showing that in the playoffs toughness still matters.

So much this. I understand the hype they get isn’t totally undeserved, but when push comes to shove in the playoffs, they always come up short.

They’re like the reverse Kings. Champions in the regular season. Bridesmaids in the postseason.
