You better be 100% certain it's a major if you're going to call a game, and in this case series, changing call. Obviously Vegas PK should've done a better job but the Sharks were absolutely dead. Even 1 goal on the PP changes the game.

Pucks to the face are incidental, when someone gets crossed checked and then another player comes in to push through while that player getting cross checked is losing their footing and then his coconut hits the ice, blood comes out.

Refs are going to call it, they are going to err on the side of player safety.

They were absolutely dead and being a man up for 5 minutes definitely helps. But I think seeing your teammate laying there like Pavelski was, makes you want to go out swinging. Building came alive too once Pavelski’s head hit the deck.
