Krejci finally had an assist
Still struggling
KDP was beating this drum earlier this season and I thought it was absurd. At this point they might as well if they’re not going to call anyone up.Sean Kuraly deserves a shot on Bruins’ No. 2 line - The Boston Globe
Sean Kuraly’s wicked cool holiday weekend included an overtime game-winner in Buffalo Saturday night, a Middleton-like one-handed lift after he chased down his own rebound. He followed that with another big fat GWG Tuesday in the Winter Classic with 76,000-plus watching inside Notre Dame Stadium.
Sure seems like the big kid can handle the spotlight. Not long after he used his long reach to make the backhand sweep on the winner in South Bend, he nearly potted another pair in the final 10 minutes. He had a hot stick in the winter’s chill.
Heck, if you didn’t know it, maybe because you were trying to talk yourself out of it, it’s almost as if the Bruins have some secondary scoring pop in the 6-foot-2-inch, 215-pound Kuraly.
“If he goes to a wing, he can add to a line,” said coach Bruce Cassidy following the 4-2 win over the Blackhawks in South Bend, Ind. “He’ll buzz. He’ll create energy. He’ll support pucks down low.”

Not unless he kills penalties. With Nordstrom out
Maybe Cehlarik gets another crack?

Tampa's 4th liners Pacquette, Joseph, Callahan currently have 8, 9 and 3 goals. Calling Kuraly's 4 goals in 39 games as a 2nd line material is ridiculous. What a sad state of hockey in Boston.
Not a chance. He is not Cassidy's guy. With Bjork injured and Senyshyn just coming back from an injury I would say Blidh is the call up.
I'm not sure Cassidy's forgiven him for the 2 consecutive penalties he took in his last call up to start the game.I wouldn’t mind that. He’s not going to add much in the way of offense, but I want to see some physicality and getting under some guy’s skins.
Dupont is smokin something special
Kuraly belongs on the 4th line
Stop over extending bottom 6 players and under utilizing top 6 forwards
Sad state of hockey is an overstatement. For sad states, see Detroit/Philly/Ottawa/Chicago/LA/St Louis.
Boston is in more of a mediocre to pretty good state. Contending for a playoff spot with some future hope and some current holes.

Is callups up to Cassidy?
As far as I know...no.

Is it up to Sweeney/Neely
Or joint decision?
For example... Gemel Smith gets benched because Cassidy didnt like something. 3 dnp
Then Smith gets sent down
Looks like Cassidy has the control...
Maybe a preseason game but he got sent down quickly after the game. His last call up was in March of 2018 against Columbus. He played 10+ minutes with no penalties.
The season before that (2016-17) he played in 19 games and got penalties in two. A 5 minute interference penalty against NAS and a 2 minute interference penalty against the Isles.
Pretty sure both those games were under Julien?
You thinking of a preseason game?

Blidh is an interesting player but I'm not so certain I want a guy running around trying to be the next Marchand while we try to hold a playoff spot
