I agree we need to keep the March Krejci pasta line together. Donato Bergeron debrusk.

Donato Bergeron Debrusk
Debrusk Bergeron Heinen
Heinen Bergeron Bjork

* and play Bergeron with Marchand in any other non 5 on 5 situations

Try three games with these three specific lines. Put back Marchand Krejci Pasta line together

I just don't understand why Cassidy just can't try .... he must realize by now that a "one line" offense team gets you nowhere in the league these days

Even even if you hate Cehlarik, you have to admit he’d probably be a better top 6 option than Nordstrom and at this point, possibly Heinen. Pretty sure he’s also been a PPG player in the last 9 games.

How is Cassidy ever going to find an offensive fit with the top 4 if he doesn't try anyone with some offensive skills for more than just a shift or a game or two.

I mean if you call up a gold glove shortstop from the minors and he makes an error on his first play. You don't move him out too left-field or bench him for the rest of the game and then send him back to the minors.

I loved Claude and thought he was a fantastic coach here, but his personnel management got to the point of being gosh awful, and his lines suffered as a result. I also love Cassidy and wouldn't trade him for too many coaches in the NHL, however I think he could be doing better when it comes to who he is putting in the lineup and the lines he has been making out recently. The coach should be putting the team in the best position to win.

I think that fourth line can play solid enough D while at the same time providing a decent scoring threat. It also has multiple players who can take faceoffs. It would be more dynamic than what is in place. It also would be superior to the fourth lines of most teams the Bs face.

The first line should never be broken up. It's the best line in hockey and can tilt a game when those guys are on, which is frequent.

The second line absolutely has to have a scoring winger. The team seems convinced that Donato is going to remain up with the Bs. His game has improved since the beginning of the season so give him a shot with David and Jake and see what happens. In the meantime try like mad to make a deal for a scoring winger and hope Donato continues to improve and can score.

Third line is a mix of kids and a vet. Maybe Backes has lost a step, but his game has really come around the past month. Let him mentor the youngsters and provide some toughness on that line. If Heinen can find any kind of scoring touch it may just work out.

If Donato gets sent down it would be great to see what a couple players in Providence can do. A couple of those guys are worthy of getting a shot.

Cehlarik and Bjork have yet to get a proper look in the top 6. I think Heinen/Donato/Nordstrom have had their share

And for the most part Heinen/Donato/Nordstrom have failed to make an impact as a top 6 forward

In two stints , Cehlarik on the 2nd line....all he has done is help the team win. I mean in the 7-9 games he has played the team has lost only twice I believe, with Krejci at least averaging a point a game. Bjork hasn't really had a shot on the 2nd line with Krejci

all in all, Cassidy rather stick Nordstrom on the 2nd line ... while itis decent defensively, Krejci keeps producing donuts

someone should grill Cassidy about this. Just even ask, Krejci was averaging 2 points a game with Marchand and Pasta. What is going on?

lets see what his reponse is

Cave is ahead of JFK. And Kuraly is one of Cassidy fav. He won't be benched before Wagner or even Heinen is

So who sits when Mcavoy comes back? I can’t see Grzelcyk going from top pairing with Chara to watching from the box. I think it’ll be Miller but we’ll see.

I think it’s actually Gryz is playing out of position on his offside with Z for 1 game until McAvoy is back cause the coaches

Wanna get the other 2 pairs chemistry cause those are the pairs there gonna use going forward

Krug Carlo
Moore Miller

Hate to see Gryz in the box but I think that’s what management wants and Cassidy will do

Sweeney said when he signed Moore our Left side D was too small in the postseason as a main reason to get Moore

I don’t love the Krug-Carlo pair. I think someone put up a stat during the Carolina game that said they allow almost half of all shots against despite getting the majority of their starts in the Ozone. (Please correct if I’m misquoting).

I believe we are going to rotate players in and out for as long as possible. This question won't truly be answered until we start readying the playoff roster.

If we've learned anything this year, it's that one of them is bound to get injured before the playoffs start.

thanks Cassidy for ruining the chemistry built before a few of the regulars returned

If it was...

Marchand Krejci Pasta
Debrusk Bergeron Heinen
Donato JFK Backes
Wagner Acciari Wagner
Nordstrom

I bet team beats the caines and devils
... Krejci keeps his point streak alive. Zero points in three games now

Spread everything out and give each line options that can actually score. We can’t have six 4th liners make up the entirety of the bottom two lines anymore.

Between Nordstrom, Kuraly, Acciari, Wagner, Backes, and Cave pick 3 of them and that’s your 4th. The others should sit.

Makes too much sense to keep 4th liners on the 4th line, and put skill guys with other skill guys.

I like this but switch Donato and Heinen. I think Bergeron could help take Debrusk and Donato’s games to the next level. Heinen and Backes have had good chemistry together.

Heinen-JFK-Backes

They have done every combo going.
How about getting rid of a couple of them and bringing in what is needed?
