Nordstrom rotating with Heinen apparently?

so Heinen is almost certainly a scratch tomorrow.

This f***ing coach. I know Heinen is fighting it but scratching him again is only going to bury his confidence even more. Sweeney needs to fix this f***ing lineup ASAP. It's starting to get to Claude levels of the coach having too many binkies at his disposal.

aaaand there it is.

jesus I'm so pissed about this.

I figured Cehlarik would be the victim of the return of Acciari that you just knew was going to happen after the loss to Philly.

This makes no sense to me. Heinen was good enough to move up to the Krejci line late in the game but now he's not good enough to be in the line-up? All to get &^*&%% Noel Acciari back in?

Not to mention I'm sure he'd welcome the chance to respond to the blatant whiff on the shot late in the Philly game with the game on his stick.

Glad Nords is moving up. Backes should be the one sitting.

Should be/try...

Cehlarik Krejci Heinen/Nords

Nords/Heinen Kuraly Debrusk
I'd put Heinen with Cehlarik and Krejci. At least Heinen knows how to pass the puck, JD has some tunnel vision this year. But yeah, no argument on Backes sitting, he should sit all year.

Try

Heinen Bergeron Pasta
Marchand Krejci Acciari
Cehlarik JFK Debrusk
Wagner Frederic Kuraly
Backes Nordstrom

Acciari is no top 6 forward but is one of the top board/cycle players on the team. Scored 10 last season and is really snake bitten this season. Just a patchup/experiment before trade for top 6 forward

This notion that Marchand and Bergeron must play as a pair for life has to end... at least temporarily

Team is in dry desert when it comes to scoring. Clearly Krejci and Pasta dont connect

But I bet Marchand - Krejci will. Krejci production has also taken a nosedive.... all of this because marchand and bergeron are joined at the hip

Frustrating to watch

Any news as to who Bruins will callup?

Gemel Smith has played well. Donato is a ppg player down there. Carey is having a strong AHL season

Danton Heinen, who recently moved into Pastrnak’s spot on the No. 1 line, will be there Tuesday night again when the Bruins face the Blackhawks at the Garden. He will line up with Brad Marchand and Patrice Bergeron.
The No. 2 line, centered by David Krejci, will be filled out by wingers Peter Cehlarik and Jake DeBrusk.
“I found out yesterday morning, and it’s disappointing,” said coach Bruce Cassidy, asked about his response to Pastrnak’s injury. “He’s one of our better players — and I am sure David feels terrible about it, at least that’s what I’ve been told by Donny. But after the disappointment moves along, it’s a challenge. I mean, we are taking our leading scorer out of the lineup and we’ve been struggling to create enough offense as it is. Now you’re going to the drawing board and ask, ‘OK, what’s the best way to go about this in terms of replacing his production?”

Cassidy added that the club will reach down to AHL Providence to add a forward for the upcoming five-game road trip.
David Backes, a healthy scratch on Sunday, will return to the lineup against the Hawks, riding on a line with Joakim Nordstrom and Trent Fredric.
