Brook with a really nice sequence that lead to Warriors' only goal. As he carried the puck in, got it back, faked Dach at the point and then used the space in front to set up the shot.

If MJ is out I'd like to see Brook with the Habs asap.

If the Habs make the playoffs, bringing up Brook would be like bringing up Subban in 2009-10. I bet it makes a big difference. Even a healthy Juulsen would be a big improvement.

Subban was brought up from the AHL, not from Junior, though.

Definitely a big difference, you’re right. Just think Brook is more polished than PK when they were the same age. The mobility and puck movement would do wonders for the team.

He's toolsy but he doesn't seem to have the IQ to go with it. Another Archambault it seems.

Now that Houde's season is done.... what's the opinion about that pick? Stats wise, he looks disapointing.

saw him a few times, was not impressed at all. Seems to have decent tools, doesn't move his feet much, seems to play more a of soft perimeter game. Found the 2 16 year olds to be much more impressive as well as the undrafted Ducharme and Kotkov.

My impression was that he has the wherewithal to play center but needs to find the offensive production. Give him another year, see what's there then.

At least, that pick was based on talent. Sometimes we draft because he could maybe play in the AHL (Pezzetta, Koberstein).
