I wanted them to lose in regulation to give us a chance to takeover WC1 tomorrow.

A Chicago loss is better. When you're in a playoff spot you want the team's below you to lose. When you're chasing a playoff spot you want the team's ahead of you to lose.

I was mixed on who I wanted to win between Dallas / Chicago. On one hand I'd love both WC spots to be wide open. On the other hand I want some teams to just drop out of the race, and tomorrow the Avs will have an opportunity to jump 6 points ahead of Chicago with the same amount of games played. At least it wasn't a three pointer, that is what really mattered.

Now we really need St. Louis to come through and beat Minny. Winnipeg beating Arizona would also be fantastic.

I'm perfectly fine with the Stars getting in, I really don't mind them, especially now that dipshit Roussel has gone elsewhere. Hopefully both them and the Avs get in.

Right, but you don't know if you can hold down that higher spot. You might be back in the last spot pretty soon, with the team below you nipping at your heels, and closer in the standings if they win.
