Doesn't matter how you format it, whether its by division, conference, or the entire league in general. Now just wait until my predictions turn out to be a total joke (also, brackets commenting/poking fun at certain teams are optional and recommended touch).

Pacific Division (Yes, the old guard of Anaheim and LA will be finished this year):
1. San Jose Sharks (Evander Kane better be worth it)
2. Vegas Golden Knights (lose a few free agents but sign Erik Karlsson and still be amazing :)).
3. Calgary Flames (don't turn to glass again Smith...)
4. Edmonton Oilers (you have no depth... but Mcdavid will get 120 points and carry you)
5. Los Angeles Kings (I mean you guys were amazing back in 2014 I guess?)
6. Arizona Coyotes
7. Vancouver Canucks (Few years out. Once that defense is built and the depth is improved, you guys could be back in the hunt)
8. Anaheim Ducks (last years sweep is a sign of things to come... also I hate you)

Central Division (its gonna be a bloodbath. I could see all the teams above .500 in this conference):
1. Winnipeg Jets (Best odds for cup in my opinion)
2. Dallas Stars (You better hope Ben Bishop stays healthy this time).
3. Nashville Predators (#PekkaRinneIsnttoogoodrightnow)
4. Chicago Blackhawks
5. Colorado Avalanche
6. St. Louis Blues
7. Minnesota Wild (I really don't know how this happened... the central is just too stacked)

Metro Division (6 or 7 of these teams are gonna be fighting for a playoff spot... massive bloodbath here as well):
1. Pittsburgh Penguins (Murray had an off year and you still got 100 points. That core still has a few more years left in it)
2. Washington Capitals
3. Columbus Blue Jackets (Really rooting for these guys to finally win a playoff series)
4. New York Islanders (Lou Lamoriello is the saviour of long island)
5. Carolina Hurricanes (I'm assuming they finally rid themselves of the mediocrity of Ward and trade the other dumpster fire in net)
6. New Jersey Devils
7. Philadelphia Flyers
8. New York Rangers (Rebuilding. Won't be contending for at least a few years)

Atlantic Division (bottom 4 teams need to get their shit together):
1. Tampa Bay Lightning
2. Toronto Maple Leafs (Jake Garner is worth 10 first round picks and our team is beastly :D)
3. Florida Panthers (assuming management doesn't f*** the team up again)
4. Boston Bruins
5. Montreal Canadiens (Carey Price will be amazing again... too bad all your scoring is gone)
6. Buffalo Sabres (Dahlin is amazing but still not enough. Still a couple years off)
7. Detroit Red Wings
8. Ottawa Senators (You guys are gonna be dead last btw. I'm so sorry guys :()

Way too early for this, as every team pretty much, will be a lot different looking than last season or even as of now.

Calgary has the best defense in the league so they are finally bound to end up first in the Pacific.

Bill Peters has had no luck with goalies. Cam Ward had a 906SV% and somehow came out with a 23-14-4 record. We should be OK as long as Smith is healthy and has average goaltending.

The underrating of the Wild on this forum is longstanding but is reaching a new level of ridiculousness. They may get knocked out of the playoffs early every year but that doesn't make them the worst team in the Central. They are not going to finish in last place and will probably make the playoffs.

Yeah I was kind of joking, I mean the only reason why I entered the thread was to find someone using the “Win” as Winnipeg initials so I could comment on it...

Lol! Totally over my head. Funny thing is I have used "Win" instead of WPG for the double meaning before but no one ever got that and I kinda got into the habit of using it that I totally did not get your meaning.
Looks the joke is on me instead.
