Daveart is the kind of idiot that would take a goalie mask request of "Hey can you make it all matte black" and still some how add lense flares in it. I feel like the market for goalie mask designers is so scarce that the goalies go to him because the other options are not well known yet.

Has to be the only way, that's like the idiots that buy a PT Cruiser thinking it's a fantastic vehicle.

The NHL needs to ban any wizards, mythological creatures or any type of flame unless you play for Calgary.

I am a big fan of the classic artists from history

, and abstract expessionism paintings in Jackson Pollock style have always thrilled me

. I was thinking, how about create a mask with abstract expressionism? I made some tests and saw it could work....

I showed Eddie Läck my ideas, and he said why not test something new...

I started to splash the colors... The Abstract Expressionism Mask was born...

Jeremy Smith is a big fan of the old school brush stroke look, with very visible brush strokes. Just like a time machine we travel back in time and create the painting as the first painted masks, just as Jeremy’s previous masks. I totally love to paint with just a brush, and the brush look works just perfect with the classic Islanders logos. I picked up my brush and the colors blue, white️ and orange and started to paint. Totally old school and no airbrush or effects what so ever, just 2-D paint. Very visible brush strokes...
