I'm starting to come around on Sale.

I think he'll hate our media and act like a baby, but that might not prevent him from pitching great.

I remain more than dubious about Price succeeding in Boston.

Someone take Dombrowski's phone away. I can picture him jumping into the Quintana talks as we speak.

Shouldn't have traded Buchholz.

Still have

Sale
Porcello
Erod
Wright
Pomerantz

Obviously, losing Price would hurt, but that's still potentially better than 90% of teams out there, IMO.

Plus they can still deal for help if needed.

I don't care about prospects that aren't on the MLB roster --- they have enough youth and time to replace anyone they may trade for pitching help through the next few drafts and free agency, down the road.

Bound to happen. He's never going to make it here. Too much money and too old. Best days are behind him.

Hell baby
Eh, people said the same thing about lackey

Sucks though. Oh well, just means E-Rod is in the rotation. Not the worst thing

Price going to see Dr Andrews for 2nd opinion on his elbow/forearm MRI is awful, awful news...

On a personal level, I wish David Price the best with regard to his injury and hope that it is something minor.

As a fan, I really couldn't care less. I didn't like the signing from the start and then Price went out and underachieved for all but a few weeks of 2016. The worst part was the lack of mental toughness Price displayed along the way, his playoff dud against Cleveland was as predictable as the sun coming up in the morning.

Are the Sox a better team with Price? No doubt. I just wouldn't count on him to step up in a tough spot. He's not a battler, it's just not in his makeup.

Interesting conversation with David Price.

Gets a little weird at the end. Not sure this guy is cut out for a major market? He doesn't seem to understand that when you sign a huge contract and don't perform to reasonable expectations, passionate fans are going to get on you and it has nothing to do with what kind of person you are:
