If we move back I'd love to get Jaret Anderson-Dolan because of his name but skillset

Best of two worlds pick

JFK & JAD

Jacobs on jersey lettering sales alone could jump a spot or two on Forbes richest Americans list

Huh? .... oh, never mind.

Sweeney not active. No rumours about any potential moves. Wow! Two years and counting where he say he needed to address the defense.

Okay with moving back some spots in the draft if it means a major advantage to the Bruins, but not expecting much from him.

Before the Lucic and Hamilton deals were announced, how many saw those coming? I am not expecting anything that major this year, but I think there will be some activity.

He also said he's confident with the current D. So am I. If a good deal is out there to strengthen the D core, go ahead and do it, but don't overpay.

Agreed, there will be some bumps for Carlo and McAvoy but there is enough veteran support to help them along.

Krejci needs his left winger, that is my priority.

I thought that was Neely that said they wanted a minutes eating LHD.

Any chance he's there at 53rd?
I don't know. Sweeney did hint that there is a better chance he will trade down than up in the draft. So maybe he'll trade down and grab an earlier 2nd to draft him? If someone who is more knowledgeable about this draft can chime in that would be great.

The draft is a bit of a crapshoot itself. I think projecting 17/18 year old goaltenders is another level of crapshoot. Maybe if you have an abundance of picks, but otherwise, leave that to rounds 3-7. Bobrovsky just won his 2nd Vezina as an undrafted player.

Does any one knows if there is some kind of a cutoff line in this year's draft?
What I mean is, is there a point where the talent dropoff is quite noticeable?

I remember hearing or reading that after 20 it's pretty much a crapshoot (I know, one could argue that every drafts are crapshoot :shakehead)
Thing is I don't remember where.

If that's the case, I don't see the need to trade down the 18th pick, unless Sweeney is targeting a goalie in the 2nd round, where good ones should available according to the 3 amigos.

Is drafting goalies risky? Yes

At the same time if you believe in a guy and like a guy why not, especially in what is considered a mediocre guy.

He is already getting it done playing against player 3-5 years older than him at the highest levels of NCAA.

No way he is there at 53

Is there a line. I don't think there is really a point where there is this huge dropoff. Yes it is likely the guy a team picks at 10 is a better prospect than the player drafted at 18. But I tend to think it is more of a steady decline.

At the same time there are a couple people who have long been considered top 10 players who some have dropping a good bit down in Rasmussen and Liljegren.

At the 18th pick, I tend to think there are a dozen guys or more the Bruins could end up selecting, and they could easily justify.

They drafted McAvoy & Lindgren

To compare you to the Zac Rinaldo of posters would be an insult to Rinaldo
