Copying this from the Chytil thread. Didn't realize I posted it there:
The things Lias need to improve are things you can improve. In that regard, he reminds me of Day. He is good at what you can't teach and has to improve at what you can teach. Day is a more boom-or-bust player of course.
It's the only way I'd compare the two. The reason I compare Lias to Bergeron is because he is already so mature. He is already so serious about it all, and his style translates very well to NHL hockey. He was important for HV71 when they won the SHL. He was, after he got some well-needed rest, important to Frolunda this season. And he was the best player for Sweden after Dahlin at the WJC. He has shown so far that he is capable of taking that next step each and every time.
He has some developing to do still, but so does Chytil. From what I have seen from Lias, he is very dominant for someone his age. In the role he was given in Goteborg, he played very mature. What I like most about Lias is his vision and his ability to always be there where he needs to be. That's where, for me at least, the Bergeron comparison makes the most sense. I don't compare based on potential but more on specific elements.
