Phil, just like Crosby was having his offense suffocated by a garbage coach for the first 2 months of the season. He had 42 points in 54 games under Sullivan in the regular season and 18 points in 17 games in the playoffs. Since being moved onto a line with Hagelin and Bonino full time he has 32 points in 32 games. Phil becoming an elite producer again just happened basically right after the roster announcements cause he finally was used as a guy who carries his line and had another speed guy in Hagelin to complement him. USAH overreacted and thought Phil wasn't that good anymore(lol) cause he was being held back by a coach for a while and that made his season look worse than it was. He'll be announced on Friday and tear this tournament up in September

Phil Kessel hasn't been selected to this tournament. USA Hockey continues to be incompetent with roster decisions. Potential Conn Smythe winner and their best player from the Sochi Olympics getting left off. Absolutely ridiculous.

No Phil Kessel, Paul Stastny, Tyler Johnson, Kyle Okposo, Justin Faulk, Cam Fowler or Kevin Shattenkirk for U.S.
 
Yeah, I'm rooting for Sweden in this tournament. USA Hockey management all need to be fired. This is a disgrace
