Im pretty sure he will be that, he will only be 37 then. As long as nobody is giving a signal of slowing down or talk about ending their career I see now reason to not count with them in a tournament "only" 3 years away.

Brodin should off course be up there, but he is hardly a lock, a player like H Lindholm is in my book better.
2018 should be more our tournament, espically if Zetterberg and the Sedins are playing then, which I count with at the moment. But we are in a generation shift, and it will take a few more years to complete. By the looks of it, this will be the last big generation shift for a long time. Before it has been big gaps between the generations. Not much between Forsberg generation to Sedin/Zetterberg to Bäckström. It was soon after Backstrom we start to produce top talent every year. The d-men is pretty much in place, it is more the new forwards that needs a couple of more years I think.
So it would be good if Zetterberg and Sedin could hold on to retirre to after 2018, then we could have both the new generation and the old in one tournament.
