Kemppainen can play bottom six and for sure is better than the Haula we is seeing now.
Agreed. But hopefully Haula rebounds this season coming up!
Haula the winger is twice the player Ma.Granlund is.
Marjamäki will be named as the head coach for the World Cup and 2018 Olympic teams today.

Official announcment at 14.00.
I think many of your D corps projections are way off, unless you want to treat this tournament as a practice run for the 2018 Olympics (in which NHL players might not even participate in). Defense that young would probably be in trouble. They will insert some more experienced Euro guys in the line up.
I really don't see why Haula is "twice the player". Neither are that special, but MaG at least seems to have some scoring touch.
I really haven't kept track and didn't have an clue they are not continuing with Jalonen. What is the "word on the streets" on the coach change?

Jalonen wanted a longer contract and Kummola & co only offered one year.
Yep.Opposite, Kummola wanted a longer contract and Jalonen wanted to move after World cup.

Yeah.
Looks like Kekäläinen/Lehtinen will have a big part on building the team since Marjamäki can't really scout the players from Finland.
Left out Petteri Lindbohm on defense. Have him instead of Hietanen or Honka and you're close. Here is my projected team Finland roster. I tried to inject some youth into the line up. Let me know what you think or if I missed anyone...

Plus ya have 15 forwards with the limit being 14. The oddest pick is Joensuu, he's hardly among the usual suspects. And Kapanen's too early to call.
Otherwise, it's pretty much the "monkey's list" as Gaps so eloquently called it.
That seems to be the case. If we get literal, it's actually 22 skaters plus 3 goalies, so the combination of forwards and d-men could technically be 15+7 or 13+9 too, or 12+10 or 16+6... you get the idea. But I don't think a single team will veer anywhere from 14+8.Is it 25 players with 14 F, 8 D and 3 Goalies?
Hey guys, I'm looking for a video. I think it was from before the WHJC last year.
