Möller and Hersley will not play in World Championship. S.Kronwall, Ahnelöv and Nylander probaly not. Ridderwall, Ullström, H.Karlsson gets the nood.

Realistic team right now:

Klasen - Backlund - Pettersson
Omark - Söderberg - Petersson
Zibanejad - Rask - Lindholm
Brodin - Josefson - Nordström
Norman, Engqvist

Brodin - Enström
Larsson - Edler
Grossman - Junland
Burström - Gustavsson

Fasth
Lehner
Markström

My 4th line is exactly what we need. Young, fresh and gritty. Brodin is having a good playoff.

Grossman is a better version of Rahimi/Ahnelöv.

If S.Hjalmarsson and Danielsson makes this team i will not watch a single game.
Edler injured and will not play this season

2 3rds of the best line in the SHL Gynge & Rosén?

Added to training camp roster:

Linus Hultström
Andreas Englund
Marcus Högström
Daniel Brodin
Marcus Ljungh
Marcus Sörensen

Looks like Red Wings will miss the playoffs.

Jonathan Ericsson and Gustav Nyqvist would be good reinforcement.

Three forwards from the current roster will be cut for the Switzerland games to make room for Eriksson-Ek, Nygård and Sörensen. Or a rotation.

Ahnelov, wikstrand, nygren and junland is in.

Lines versus swiss?

Viksten-sjogren-nygard
Tedenby-vesterholm-petersson.
Sorensen-ljungh-cehlin.
brodin-eriksson ek- sorensen.
Sandberg, hedberg

Junland-gustavsson.
Wikstrand-Nygren.
Hultstrom-hogstrom.
Forsling/johansson-Ahnelov.

Big Rig is useless, especially on the bigger ice surfaces.

Nyqvist has had an underwhelming season; I'm not sure he'll bring the best form.. Or perhaps this is exactly what he needs to gain some confidence and turn things around.

Nyquist would be an option but he's firmly behind Backlund and Rask considering they can play center. Both Zibanejad and Lindholm can play more of a checkers role if needed. If it's down to Nyquist vs Omark vs Klasen or whatever just keep those who play in Europe and are on the national team during the season. We'll see who accept their invite first.

He has been fantastic lately. 5 goals in his last 5 games.

I think he can dedicate a lot of it to improved skating, seems like he can fly pretty good now, which is a big improvement if you go back to his WJC days. Always was very skilled and has the size aswell.

First NHL harvest:

Backlund (a true first line center)
Sedin - Sedin :cry::tvhappy:
Landeskog :golfnana: - Söderberg :puppy: (!) :welcome: - Eriksson :puppy::welcome:
Rask - Lindholm :GWC: :headache:
Wennberg :handclap: - Zibanejad

Ekman-Larsson :naughty: - Karlsson
Larsson :yo:

Markström :)
Läck :hyper:

Second NHL harvest (first round losers):

Forsberg :pillow:

Steen - Berglund :tmi:- Zetterberg :yoda: :teach2:

Ekholm - Brodin

Nyquist
Ericsson :hit:

Hedman :lightning

Lundqvist :naughty: :wave::wave::wave: :tvhappy::bb:  :win:

Homeland security:

Ericsson - Sjögren - Omark

Burskydd -
- Fransson
Gustafsson -

Fasth
Svensson

The more I see of Ritola and Heed the more I want them on the team.

Fantenberg from Frölunda could also be good enough for this team.

Zibenajed has been up and down this season, despite a respectable amount of points, but lately he has played his best hockey of the season.

Hopefully he gets the call.

I agree, when I have watch ottawa latly he has been pretty electrifying to watch, feels like his breakthrough is close. He should be a lock if he wants to go. I can see him as a winger as well (if many center say yes).

Sounded like Larsson's contract situation was the main reason he didn't go last year. I think he'll go this year, but just my gut feeling, of course.

Yeah that's usually a deal breaker.

Rask does not have contract next season I saw the other day, so that will probably stop him this year.

Players on the bubble to the world cup team should be very interested in the worlds. A strong showing there and they might jump up the depth chart.
