Transfer: 2016 Summer Transfer Window

  • Xenforo Cloud is doing server maintenance Thurdsay 13th at 9 AM GMT. Downtime is to be expected during the process. Why would Dortmund or Hummels do that? The cup win means more to Dortmund than to Bayern anyway. Their season was "not successful" anyway. At least by their standards.
Hummels on the other hand wants to win the cup badly, I'm sure.
His contract at Bayern start in July, not now.

As an opponent, I would be much more concerned to see Kimmich and Thiago, or Kimmich and Vidal, or Vidal and Thiago, or all three. At least in the near future.
 
If Liverpool can't get Dembele, then Volland may be a backup plan.

Bild has Liverpool, Leipzig and Leverkusen in on him.

Fischer and Promes from ajax could be interesting targets

Townsend from Newcastle if they go down wouldn't be that bad an option imo.

Bellarabi is another option.


I really wonder who klopp will target for cb.

Umtiti seems like a klopp type signing from what i heard of him.
 
I read Rulli to Liverpool but it's from the English papers...not sure if they're reliable. Nothing from Spain/Argentina.

Bellarabi has already stated that he will stay for at least another season. Also his buyout clause had to be activated before the end of April. Same with Leno.
 
Honigstein says Xhaka to Arsenal for €50M including bonuses will be made official, but for now Gladbach are trying to have a replacement signed before that.
 
Guardian has Liverpool still being in on O. Dembele

I'm basing my opinion on absolutely no written facts here, but I would assume Liverpool need to win on the 18th to have a shot.

I would Like to know how Dortmund signing Dembele may effect Pulisic though.

I would like to believe that Klopp/Liverpool have better aspirations than the players cited above, save for Bellarabi and Umtiti. Bellarabi could be an interesting option but I don't think he'll leave Leverkusen just yet.

I don't think Umtiti is a Klopp type. Klopp likes tall CBs. Umtiti is under 6'

Dembele's twitter activity makes it very clear that he wants to go to Dortmund.

According to "Süddeutsche Zeitung" from Munich Carlo told Mario Götze that he is not in his plans for next year. This might mean Götze is leaving Bayern this summer. Possible destinations are LFC, Juve or Arsenal.

Doesn't make sense for both Gotze and Thiago to leave. One at least will remain.

I'd welcome Gotze at Juve :)
