Canada's finally starting to produce some world-class players to surround her with. Beckie's first touch was outstanding, and she takes a lot of the offensive pressure off Sinclair. Also, she can actually score.

Absolutely. Her first touch on the play that led to the goal was out of this world. Not enough has been said about the brilliant long pass that found her. Was that Bouchard? Anyway, it was incredible.

It was Zadorsky. There's no Bouchard on the team.

Disappointed that Barber couldn't medal in pole vault but happy for Brazil's Da Silva for taking gold at home over Lavillenie who seemed to be a shoe-in.

It was Zadorsky, but maybe you were thinking Josee Balanger maybe? Kadeisha Buchanan?

It was the former I was thinking of. Thanks. Anyway, great pass. These women are playing tremendous soccer.

My current favourite is Diana Matheson. I love her work rate and the intelligence of her play off the ball.

Edit: and my favourite player is not starting. Deep team.

That was a stupid move. Buchanan didn't need to slide, could simply have defended there.

Think the Canadian girls are going to get done.

Very difficult to beat a top team twice in a short span.

Bolt and De Grasse smiling and laughing with each other as the cross the line in the 200 is what makes the Olympics fantastic

What seemed awesome was he began to cruise then decided to try to catch Bolt, did, then cruised to the finish... 19.80, PB, Canadian record.

Cant wait to see his time tomorrow.
