I've watched enough of Clague to say I want him quite bad. Seems like a great offensive defense man. Will be great to see him with higher minutes this season in Brandon.

Again, I'm surprised by A. Nylander at #6. I haven't watched him yet (missed the Hlinka), but let's just compare his stats to his brother:

Draft-2:
William - 1.41 PPG in U18, 4 points in 8 games SuperElit (U20)
Alex - 1.53 PPG in U18, no U20 games

Draft-1:
William - 1.59 PPG in SuperElit, 6G/10P U17 Worlds, 3P/5G U18 Worlds, 6P/8G Allsvenskan (second Swedish pro league), 6P/4G Hlinka
Alex - 0.95 PPG in SuperElit, 6G/7P U17 Worlds, no U18 Worlds, no Allsvenskan, 6P/5G Hlinka

I don't know. Looks like William would have to be the better prospect at that point. Anyway, apparently McKenzie had William at #3 in his preseason 2014 rankings. Also, Alex will come over to play for Mississauga, so we can see what that hype's all about. It's interesting, though, that he seems to be consistently ranked above fellow Swedes Carl Grundstrom (5P/24GP in the SHL, the highest pro league, and 1.33PPG in SuperElit) and Rasmus Asplund (3P/35GP in the SHL, 1.32PPG in SuperElit). They're all between 5'11 and 6'0, so size can't be the deciding factor...

Jones is an interesting case. Could be this year's Lawson Crouse. Ranked #3 by ISS, #47 by Button. Would be nice if he could switch his Points and PIM stat columns.

With Matthews having no comparables at any level he has played at and being that they all are established leagues. Could it be that we have our first post-lockout generational American? I mean Eichel is good but this kid looks a step ahead at a younger age.

I asked in a different thread, but I'd love to hear more about Olli Juolevi from people who get to see him play. I like what I read about him.

Kale Clague sounds like a good pick as well.
