I should not have gotten so snippy either. This place is just very...toxic lately. I've been lurking for a reason.


Regarding Elliott, I'd much rather roll the dice on him at the expense of some combination of the wealth of assets we have rather than rely on Cam/Eddie. Elliott may not be the greatest goaltender, but he excels in a defensive system. I think he might have worked with the structure that Peters emphasizes. It's a moot point now, though.

You raise a good point. I have a hard time accepting the Canes having a good defensive system based on the past 30 years of my life. Just doesn't seem like it could be possible.
