Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Donte Moncrief was shocked when he learned that his former teammate Zurlon Tipton died after accidently shooting himself in June. Moncrief's grief quickly turned to concern when he thought of Tipton's young daughter Zoe growing up without a father.

And the third-year Colts wideout is ready and willing to help Zoe.

I like the Jaguars young talent and potential but I think they'll be third in that division next season. They're close though.

Dallas Cowboys linebacker Rolando McClain has yet to report to training camp and there are real questions as to whether he will play in the NFL again.

Sources confirmed that McClain's recent 10-game suspension is not for a failed marijuana test, but for another opiate, commonly referred to as "purple drank" -- a combination of Sprite, cough syrup and codeine. Other sources said the suspension was not marijuana related.

Actually the Jags are favored 3rd to win the South, 3.6:1. Both the Colts and Texans are under 2:1. Tennessee is about 11:1.

I'm a Colts fan threw and threw, but I've been predicting the Jaguars to win it since the draft, it's not a homer prediction.
