Like i said team effort, but the reason why I'm so impressed with From is because of he's huge leap in development going from
J18 elit last season to SHL this season, and u can really see why he's playing SHL in this tournament so far.

Røndbjerg has impressed me as well, taking another step in his development, but we already knew last season that he has high potential.

They could become even better next year your right about that, the players i think who will be hardest to replace next year is gonna be:
Matias Lassen, Anders Krogsgaard and Thomas Lillie

Well of course... Oh Mother Russia our fate is in your hands.

As it most likely will be Russia in the QF - I'm certain it will be a warm and "motherly" hug around our net
Denmark achieved what they came for - all there is left is to fight to the last whistle to avoid a blowout.
So far losing 1-6 to Canada and 0-5 to Sweden is actually pretty good.
Hope they still have something in the tank to avoid being totally smashed by USA and Russia.

Yeah let's participate in hockey and go home

These guys gotta be crazy proud. :yo:

Just a thought: This is not a special generation" a la 06/07(Dahm, Lauridsen, Philip Larsen, Mads Bødker, Lars Eller, Mads Christensen, Mikkel Bødker, Nichlas Hardt, Morten Madsen, Morten Poulsen), 10/11(Lauridsen, Spelling, Nicklas Jensen, P. Bjørkstrand, Nicolai Meyer) or last year with Bjørkstrand and Ehlers. From the outside it looks like a pretty average year for the U20 NT. Not a lot of top end talents.

But in 2015 a pretty average(not bad... average) Danish U20 NT can survive at the WJC. So for the third year they'll play at the WJC next year. Hopefully that's a sign of more depth to come for the real NT. :handclap:

Matias Lassen have impressed me alot! The same with From, Røndbjerg and Krag!

Yeah I hadn't really imagined they would make it! Even though the Danish team looks average it actually isn't. The depth of goaltending and especially defense is far better than what we normally see. The forwards group is also deep (though granted many of them are "youngsters", see below), though the lack of Ehlers made the offensive ability of the team go down a lot. Their fighting spirit has been excellent though!
Actually the team is fortunate that so many players will be eligible next year and many of those are already leading player for the team.

In goal Lilie and Seldrup will be to old, but Lasse M. Petersen will take over.

For the defense the loss of Mattias Lassen will be the most hard, but at least we will have three defensemen able to play again next year: Christian Mieritz, Nicolai Weichel and Morten Jensen.

In attack we only lose Søren Nielsen, Emil O. Christensen, Jeppe Holmberg, Marcus Jensen, Christian Jensen & Thomas Olsen and that is it........
So Mathias From, Alexander True, Niklas Andersen, Jeppe Jul Korsgaard, William Boysen, Nikolaj Krag Christensen & Jonas Røndbjerg will be back a year older! Less than half of our attacking players were 19.

So they team looks to improve a lot offensively for next year. The question is whether goaltending and defense will reach this years standard......but it will still be better than average!

I think thats why I was so pumped when we beat Switzerland...This was kinda the year where we weren't good enough. Next year looks quite a bit better, with the exception of goalie maybe...But I didn't know Seldrup that much either and he has been really impressive...

Im in general really impressive with us having quite a few good young goalies now. Looking good for the national team in the future.

The experience that these guys can take away from this year, is probably even better than last year, because there weren't any obvious superstars that you know could bail you out...This was just a complete team effort.

The speed has been surprisingly good, and they have managed to find a very good balance in terms of respecting your enemy, and knowing your weak points but without being fearful.

Eller, the rest of the coaching staff, DIU, the clubs and team denmark deserves a lot of credit for this as well.

Proud of this team.
