Ultimately the mistake didn't hurt them. That was going to be a run on a sac fly anyway and they escaped the inning without anymore damage.

They should have 15 seconds at most to challenge or it's too late. It's kind of ridiculous that a team can do their own video review before challenging. That kind of defeats the purpose doesn't it? I'm surprised challenges aren't won more often than they are since nearly every play is reviewed by a team before issuing a challenge.

I'm getting tired of it too. I thought the rule was changed this year that either you challenge, or you don't. There is no standing there and waiting to see if it will be successful.
