The thing that I like is that we took a few kids that are older and closer to being NHL ready than say a college kid that is 3-4 years away.
It's no secret that our prospect cupboard is pretty empty and this could address that issue.
...and Sprong, I can't express how happy I am to see this team actually grab an offensive, talented winger with a lot of skill and booming shot.
That would be a great ploy.
Trade up and get Kylington. Won't be many impact players after round 3. Then trade Pouliot for Kessel. Boom.
Very much with all of this. Especially the bold.
Albeit a little transparent.
Honestly, I think the offer is DP and the ask is Maatta.
JR is impatient, and Shanny knows it.
Shanny has no plan B like he does, and JR knows it.
It's a game of chicken.
I remember when people jumped down our throats for making that referenceBabcock.... Which is why he wants Olli so bad. He knows the guy plays like an ole number five he once coached.
If Kessel really wants to be here, which I think he does, then I doubt he'd do that just to spite Toronto. This is basically the perfect situation for him. He'd be playing on a contender where all he's really asked to do is put up a **** ton of points, he doesn't necessarily have to be a leader or the face of the franchise.

Can they go to WBS?
Someone kick Shanny...
Is sprong our second best forward prospect now?
Two years laterI said that much in another thread.
The longer this goes on the better the outcome is as a Pens fan.
Patience....
LOL. Shero's kid.
