An instinctive finisher who is deadly from the circles in - just buries his chances. Shifty with the puck and never afraid to try new moves. Constantly moves his feet down low to slide off opposing defenders in traffic and gets open in prime scoring areas. Has the patience to wait out goalies and a great release. Anticipates really well, always around the puck. Light on his edges. Creates turnovers off a determined, persistent forecheck and steals pucks on backcheck. Plays with passion and intensity, never takes a shift off. Effective in heavy traffic - elusive and tough to contain. Plays give-and-go, giving the puck up and darting to open ice. Gives and receives passes well at top gear. Makes creative saucers through traffic - unselfish and just makes plays all the time.
