Not really. Reinhart didn't develop quite as expected (personally I never liked the pick) and they got 2 high picks for a guy who was being squeezed out the great young D corps they have. They did good on this deal, IMO.
And of course Detroit gets a draft favourite of mine. Happens every freaking year.
If you had the 4th would you trade it for the 16th and an early 2nd? I wouldn't let alone for picks 3 years later. Just bad asset management.
Doesn't matter if you have a few other guys that project as mid/bottom-pairing defensemen ready.
