Fort Wayne, Ind. - The Fort Wayne Komets announced that Jordon Southorn has agreed to terms and becomes the sixth defenseman to be added to the team's preseason roster.
Southorn, 25, returns to the Fort Wayne lineup after skating 26 AHL games with Portland
Utica Comets Director of Hockey Operations Pat Conacher has announced that the club has re-signed defenseman John Negrin to an American Hockey League contract for the 2015-16 season.
Negrin, 26, spent the 2014-15 season with the Comets where he recorded three assists and 12 penalty minutes in 35 games.
San Antonio Rampage General Manager Craig Billington announced today that the club has agreed to an AHL contract with defenseman Justin Hamonic. Per club policy, the terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Hamonic, 21, has played the past four seasons with the Tri-City Americans of the Western Hockey League (WHL). He recorded three goals, 43 assists and 199 penalty minutes in 255 career games with the Americans and served as the team’s captain for the 2014-15 season.
The Norfolk Admirals announce today that the team has signed five players to standard contracts for the upcoming 2015-16 season.
