It's surprising too, as he was dominating the pre-tournament games!

There is an interesting argument being made right now about Russian players developing better at home than in the CHL and it will be interesting to watch how Svechnikov progresses.

There is, I could read Russian posters on the prospects board rant about it all day . But Lazarev is second fiddle to Yevgeni in the Cape Breton games I've seen and he's been great in this tourney!

I think it takes a special kid to come over from Russia and flourish in junior. There's just so many factors in play. I mean, it's hard for some kid from Manitoba to leave the farm to join a team a few hours away, let alone the massive culture shock of coming to NA from Russia.

Rantanen has done nothing for me in the first round and Juolevi was my 5th or 6th round pick was my best, I think like 9 assists..

Tried to gamble on Kase off Czech Republic with 0 points haha

And Meier is gone. Was hoping he would score more points in the relegation round though. Still have 2 Russians, a Swede, 3 Americans and my Finish Goalie who I am not sure will see the ice again.

St. Albert, Alberta.
nobody seems to mention it much but the Sabres are going to be in line to add an outstanding winger to Jack Eichel like Matthews, Puljujarvi or Laine. that team could be scary good in a few years!

Bragin... I just don't understand your goalie carousel.

Looks like I'll finish with 24 points, likely the worst score I've ever posted.

Very bad draft for me.

Have no one to blame but myself.

Went all Canada the year Canada didn't even pick Canada...

The goalie choice bit me in the butt as well, but what can you do.

Big day for me, finished with 44 points. I haven finished this high since I drafted first in the 2012 draft and I had Evgeny Kuznetsov first overall.

Congrats Paralyzer! I know a solid team when I see one, thanks for proving I can pick them ponies. And thanks for keeping track and posting daily scoreboard updates. MVP!

Thanks to Cerebral for hosting. 10th annual next year... it's been a decade since you started this thing! That's quite a feat.

And as always, this has been a blast. I look forward to this draft every year and a big part of that is the group we've assembled. Much love fellas.
