I don't understand wanting to keep Skille when we have a slightly better version of him in Morin. We don't need both of them

Release Skille we can easy. Only then again, when will an injuries or bad start, begin to blame JK or again take Skille with waiwer. I agree with Cyclones Rock about one year two way contract for hin.
For the rest my forecast following:
Calvert .........$1,2 m/ 2 years
Atkinson.........$1,7m/2 years
Letestu.......$1,7/ 2 years
Cracknell.... gone
Chaput....$0,65 2 way/ 2 years
Skille.....$1,1 2 way/ 1 years
Bobrovsky....$6-6,5/ 5 years
Leopold.....optimally throw off in the deadline
Goloubef....guy need to develop, develop in NHL. Somewhere in Carolina he will get the opportunity, may be the fifth round get for him.
McElhinney...in no case and newer.
Skille and Letestu are the only UFAs of that group, not like Atkinson/Calvert/etc. really have a choice if that's what we offer themWow you're going to lose some of those players with those low-ball offers.
Calvert - retain but on a 1 year prove it deal
Atkinson - qualified.. if he accepts then we keep, if not we trade (might just trade him anyways)
Letestu - I could see him leaving for a more lucrative deal with a team that'll play him in their middle 6.. otherwise I would say keep him but for no more than 2.5/year if we plan on utilizing him as our 4C going forward
Cracknell - he hasn't been bad but nothing special.. I'll say he heads somewhere else
Chaput - qualify and retain
Skille -I would say 1-2 years for cheap but CBJ execs probably would scratch him rather than Bollgone, replaced by Morin
Bobrovsky - obviously signed
Leopold - traded/walk
Goloubef - traded or 1 year deal
McElhinney - gone and I don't care how
I don't know what Calvert has to prove, I'd show him more love than that

Low-ball offers? Maybe, but I doing all increase in salary, expect Chaput. They are somewhere will get more? I don't think so.
Нave both. They have four full season in the NHL, which give arbitration right even at the youngest age call his first professional contract(18-19 years).I'm not sure about Cam and Cal, do they have arbitration rights? If so I think Cam will get a bit more.
Yeah I don't see a 1 year show me deal for Calvert. That's more for Atkinson if anyone. Calvert, when his game is on, is a Blue Jacket type player to a T.
Please help me understand why you would give away Atkinson for nothing or expect him to sign a 'dirt cheap deal'. Did you misspell Collins?
The asset management of RFAs by some of you in this thread is mind-boggling.
If we get fully healthy I'd love to take a long look at Jenner/Hartnell/Foligno - Johansen - Atkinson
Valid points. If they commit to Bob long term, which is really a no brainer at this point since he's only 26, then you essentially are developing goalie talent for other teams. The Devils were terrible at developing goalie talent because they had Martin Brodeur. That will change the focus on developing Forsberg and others to making them attractive assets to trade for teams who need goalies. If they think he's ready from a development standpoint, then he absolutely can sit and play only 20 games off the bench and if he does well in those 20 games, he'll become then next Cory Schneider and be a highly sought after commodity.
