How about the big 5 titles - Stanley Cup, Olympic gold, WHC, WJC, Canada/World Cup.

Only four players have it: Fetisov, Larionov, Sakic, Niedermayer

Shanahan only missed out on the WJC

Then you have Stanley Cup, Olympic gold, WHC, WJC: Kamensky, Gusarov, Mogilny, Pronger, Toews, Bergeron

I'm wondering what game(s) we're finally going to Schenn play in

I assume that they won't sit him every game, so a Saturday game against France looks like a great opportunity. Eakin watches from the press box.

Any word if were going to add another goalie? Perhaps Dubnyk? Or Price if the Canadiens are eliminated this weekend?

I think Price or Talbot would be the only potential options. Dubnyk's unsigned so I don't expect that he'd go over if asked (too much injury risk without a contract). Tokarski and Kuemper aren't options to just drop into an elimination round on international ice with no 'warmup' games under their belt (and arguably are not a substantial upgrade to Smith).

If NYR could turn things around maybe Holtby's available just under the wire.

I'm curious to see if we add one of the Wild's D to fill out the roster, or still waiting to see if Subban comes available tomorrow.

I would be shocked if Canada added a goaltender in any situation short of Price calling them and begging to go. The team hasn't lost, and I assume that Hockey Canada likes Smith given that he has agreed to go to this tournament a few times recently and he was selected to be the third option in Sochi. I would hope that the coaching staff gives another game to Jones at least, but I can't see a new goaltender going.

If Subban does not come, then I think they'll only try for a LH Def. They are already very deep with RH Def (Burns, Ekblad, Barrie, Savard) but not as strong on the LH Def side (Hamhuis, Muzzin, Wiercioch).

The only issue is having a 3rd stringer in case of injury. But, I agree that unless it's Price, they're not going to bring in somebody to slot in ahead of Smith or Jones.

What's the deadline for adding players to Team Canada? The end of the round robin?

Earlier someone mentioned that it is start of quarters - so basically Wednesday? I think I looked it up, Habs/Bolts Game 7 is too late. NYR/WSH Game 7 is the night before.

anyone knows what the lines are now? Is it going to be Hall-Crosby-Eberle, etc?

After today's performance by Smith, I think asking his agent to spend so much time in the heat might have made him too leisure.

Today's performance? :amazed: I thought Jones was playing fine despite the 3 goals, but he had little to do for the first 2 periods.
