With Fust as head coach ...

If on top of that, if they eat some cats, they should be in good shape ;-)

I am excited by what this team could be. I trust more Fust than Celio ... and their are some amazing players in this pre-selection.

The main fire-power being in the offense.

Can't wait to se this JWC in Canada. (it has always been my hockey event during new-year. (i prefer it to the Spengler cup).

Really like Fiala, I think he can do really well in this tournament with his skill. He doesn't have quite the team Tervainen had in 2014 but next year, one year older and maybe with a better team he might be able to lead his team to a bronze.

Müller is still a possibility. The Sharks first said 'no' but as he got scratched the last 3 games they perhaps want to get him some playing time. Would be a huge upgrade for the Defence.

I hope the Sharks release him. He would easily be the best defenseman in the tournament and it would be a great experience for him.

We will see in due time.

I am more worried about the defense ... and the goaltending. They are more likely to be the problem ... .

Seems odd that goaltending will be problem for Swiss :)

And when SJS will decide on Muller?

Since Conz goaltending was also sort of solid but not more and if Switzerland wants to challenge for a medal they'd need more. ;)

I just read that the Swiss federation will give it another try before they fly over.

Have you being in a freezing box? ;)

Conz is 23 years.

I'm really hoping that he meant there's nobody like Conz who was unknown(to most posters anyway) and suddenly become one of the best goalies in te tournament.

If he actually thought Conz was still eligible. Then I'd be surprised

Exactly

Really like Suter. Looking forward in seeing what he can bring to the table for the Swiss. I'm thinking he'll do well in a tournament like this.

Likely would make the allstar team but wouldnt say easily be the best defensemen.. quite a few good dmen will be attending this year, although none have been in the nhl like mueller has

There's no reason this Swiss group of forwards, can't make some noise at this tournament. That combined with some timely goaltending and they could upset a team in the Quarters.

Fiala- Fuchs- Meier
Wieser- Suter- Schweri
Schmidli- Rod- Malgin

By no means the most powerful group, but Fiala could be the best player in the tournament.

Fiala, Rod and Malgin had great chemistry when they played together. They could play again in the same line.

Fiala was one of the best players in the tourny last year. Can't wait to see him play again this year!
