Fucale needs to be way better than this if Canada wants to win. Virtanen Gauthier Dickinson Chartier didnt get a shift in the OT.

it is the goalies fault. The Russian goalie that is. I don't see how anyone can blame the offense today, we dominated, just ran into a hot goalie. Better now than when it actually matters. Plus add McDavid, Lazar, petan.

Both goals could have easily been avoided if Fucale gloved them, neither of the shots were high in speed either.

Doesn't mean Fucale was good though. Because he absolutely wasn't. But we did sit back at the end, so I wouldn't 100 % blame him.

Fucale could have been better but realistically we win that game 9 times out of 10, Sorokin was just unbelievable tonight. Lets see how Comrie looks on Sunday.

I like bowey during the game, but my god he gave the shooter about as much room as you can possibly give. He can't play that far off the shooter.

This was why Russia scored, u can blame fucale but that shot wasnt the easiest in the world.

Fucale was one of our better performers last tournament, or are we just going to ignore that now?

With that being said, Comrie is playing better right now and deserves his shot and I expect he will end up with the starting job.

I like Gauthier for this team, but he's not explosive enough to play in OT and he rightfully didn't. Virtanen should have had a shift though, the more ice the better for him.

Why? He was really good tonight. Just because he doesn't hit everything or skate really really fast doesn't mean anything. His game is subtle. If you watch him play you'll see him breaking up scoring chances before they happen.

I definitely agree with you. Hopefully this is just a warm up game, When McDavid and Lazar key in there should be at least another goal per game in this tournament, except maybe against the States.

Agreed. I thought Duclair and Domi had their moments, while Reinhart was one of the worst players for Canada. Even his usually terrific decision making was very off on several occasions.
