for those who went sunday, whats a good time to get there? worth going a few hours early or should i just get there for game time?

i was pretty close up yesterday, i sat in 126 row 18. here was my view. it was a great experience but not particularly amazing for watching a hockey game. i still got to see almost all of the action (just the opposite end of the rink, near boards were REALLY blocked off). definitely enjoyed myself a lot, the atmosphere is worth every penny

I have tickets to the game Wednesday night, section 405 row 10. Anyone sit there on Sunday? It's upper deck but I'm not sure how the view is. I'm also sure it's gonna be quite windy up there:

Hard to say since the sunday game was delayed and everyone was kinda standing around frozen for an extra 40 minutes.

One thing I will advise though is anyone who has bought or is planning on buying tix from stubhub to be picked up at their bronx store, GET THERE EARLY.

I showed up around 11:30 am which was an hour before the game was originally set to begin and didn't make it into the stadium until 1230-1235. I was one of the lucky ones too because things really started to get crazy 10-15 minutes after I arrived and I bet there were a bunch of people who would have missed the puck drop if it were not for the delay.

The people at the stubhub office were great, super nice and moved pretty quick, but there were tons of people buying tix this way, so if you don't want to miss any of the pre-game ceremonies or the puck drop, plan accordingly.

Was in 406 yesterday, right next to 405 which was basically empty, people were saying the wind was really bad in 405 so many moved. For being in RF the view was very good. Was in the last row, and stood during the game, good viewing angle for being that far away.

Prices really starting to rise on StubHub for Wednesday. Get in price is $80 now.

Shocked. I'd have figured they went down since the views from the the lower sections was bad, and you couldn't see anything - not even the big screen - from the bleachers. Plus it was so freakin' cold!

I got to StubHub at 10:30 am and waited on line for 10 minutes..... Are 11:30 am people were waiting an hour.....

Get there early and then go to the bars for a bit.

It was a great time!IMO the best overall view of the ice is in the 200 section.

YES! GET there early! Had the game not been delayed we would have missed the entire first period. We Left Staten Island at 10:45 & got in the stadium at 1:20. Everything was going great until I got to the GWB.

You don't have to get there early if you're picking up stubhub, you can pick up any time you want by the end of today on 40th street

There was that much traffic on Sunday at that time? Crap. I left from North Jersey at 9:00 and there was absolutely none on the GWB. I was going to drive in Wednesday, but the only thing is I can't leave until 5 pm. Peak rush hour time.

i came in from pa - took the gwb and then took the henry hudson down to 79th and parked. free street parking that's easy to find.
took the subway up and was at the stadium by 11:45ish...
not really worth going that early unless you want to check out the souvenirs and ****.

this was my view from section 421

I was in the same section, same row. What seat?

If you want to sell your stub, better do it quick. In a week or so, they won't fetch much and there will be a bunch of people with auctions/buy it now's listed for $50+ that will sit there forever.

Before the game I figured the stubs would be worth about $20-25, which is what I put the floor at for the game tickets. If tickets went down to $10 I was ready to buy up as many as I could and not even use them for the game, taking a chance that they would be STH stock. I'm a buyer at anything around $15 and under and would be looking to make full stadium series stub collections of NYR 1 & 2, LAK, and CHI. The ticketmaster plain stock stubs are pretty worthless though

I have been looking for a few Rangers and Giants stubs for a while. I look through EBay and for the most part, it is always the same listings for ridiculous money. Most people are only interested if they attended the event. The amount of people who collect stubs for games they did not attend is VERY VERY small.
