It's a bit far out but so far on the forecast we're looking at cloudy high of 36 for the Devils game and clear sky high of 43 for the Islanders game with no rain in sight:

I live and work out on the Island and several co-workers of mine said they would consider going to the Ranger/Islander game if the weather was decent. I think that if the forecast is for the 40,s the game will be great!

So the skating party for season ticket holders who renewed with a Chase credit card is going to be at Yankee Stadium on 2/7. Not that this won't be cool, but I'm a bit disappointed that I still will not have had the chance to skate at MSG

I agree. Pretty cool skating outside at Yankee Satdium, but would be coller at MSG.
I got the same Email, but I did not re-new with a Chase credit card.
Maybe the "Chase" people get top choice as to their time?

I doubt it, the email states pretty clearing that time slots are allotted first-come first-serve

Guess I don't need to be keeping a chase card after all

I have missed out on things before because I did not re-new with the preferred credit card (I believe it was Amex a few years back).
They threw me a bone this time though. It's my daughter's 13th B day on the 7th too.
She and three friends will be skating at Yankee Stadium now. They don't need to know it was free.

I know KISS is performing in LA for the Ducks Kings game...

Would be nice to know so one could plan their day in advance. Nothing on Yankee Stadium site or anywhere and its almost 2 weeks away. Has anyone heard anything? DETAILS.

The gate times are posted as 10:30am for 1/26 & 5:30 pm for 1/29.

I have asked the same questions about attractions other than the game itself and haven't found anything yet. KISS playing in LA is a sign that they should have something going on. Apparently the NHL expects these games to all be "world-class events". Somehow I doubt we'll see a name like KISS, but who knows, maybe they'll surprise us and get Billy Joel!

I have asked the same questions about attractions other than the game itself and haven't found anything yet. KISS playing in LA is a sign that they should have something going on. Apparently the NHL expects these games to all be "world-class events". Somehow I doubt we'll see a name like KISS, but who knows, maybe they'll surprise us and get Billy Joel!
