2014 HFTML FANTASY DRAFT Discussion Thread (DRAFT STARTED YESTERDAY ;) )

I'm leaving for the cottage tomorrow morning... so i guess my team will be **** ed as then... :( unless someone would like to jump on as AGM for the remainder of the draft.
 
A lot of people are leaving. Not sure why we don't just pause it for a weekend
 
lol what? Yes they will. They will come back feeling better about their teams as well.
 
So it seems the majority of the league are going away, or don't mind pausing it. So I propose at Midnight, the draft gets paused where it is, until Monday morning at 12;00am (midnight). Picks can still be made, so if 374 (complete random number) is OTC as of midnight, and he picks at 2pm tomorrow, then it's 275, so progress can still be made, but it prevents the GM's that are away from getting ****ed.
 
i'm okay with either way.
if 1/2 the league (and their agms) are not going to be here, then pause it.

...what the ****? how does that make sense?


I missed my picks because i was asleep and chose not to wake up at the crack of wtf to make picks. These guys chose to go away for the long weekend, they shouldn't get special treatment and pause the whole draft

so you're ok with folding this thing if 1/2 of the "league" aren't here to finish the draft? seems pretty foolish in my opinion lol.

seems more realistic to wait for the weekend and finish it properly... allowing everyone to complete their team. :dunno: :help:

I was away all last weekend moving and on my interview. Didn't get any pause. Bring your phone and make your picks there.
 
This should be put to a MAJORITY vote. not individuals just throwing in their two cents...

majority should rule. long weekends tend to take people all over the place.

It would be a shame for the majority of teams to be hindered by this unless of course the remaining teams need the advantage.
 
It isn't about one person. It is about a mass amounts of people being away. The few that aren't doing anything will be upset, but it's for the betterment of the league.

Take a couple days off, and enjoy the long weekend with family or friends, and everyone comes back to where we were.
 
Okay - Let's take this to the vote: we need a Majority Vote:

Do the GMs agree of pausing the league for 2 days for the long weekend.

There's been ample time to find an AGM. If the GM doesn't have one, could always make a list.
 
Do not agree. Make a list. If those of us who have to work have to make a list, then those of you going away can make a list.

You have no excuse by this point if you don't have an agm.
