Does anyone have the screen shot of Draisaitl sitting behind Bennett for the sheer size comparison.
You don't score 105 in your SECOND year in a new COUNTRY if you don't have skill ...and on a horrible team.
Heard him called the Deutschland Dangler on some highlights.

48 pts in his last 22 games.
Skill: Draisatl > Bennett
Size: Draisatl >> Bennett
Shot: Draisatl > Bennett
Passing: Draisatl >> Bennett (there's a reason he's called the German Gretzky)
Skating: Bennett > Draisatl
Skill over Size? No, we took Size AND Skill.
My god the skating thing is so overblown. Anyone watch him at the WC's? Looked fine to me.
I know the debate is over but Draisaitl does not have a better shot than Bennett and Bennett is much more mobile.
In regards to the pick, I've always said that I think Draisaitl has the highest ceiling in the draft with his combination of size and skill. If he can address and skating and d-zone deficiencies the Oilers will be laughing. I just feel he was a risky pick.

Anyone got a highlight package that will make me fall in love with Leon?
Hall-RNH-Eberle
Perron-Draisaitl-Yakupov
Love it.....
MacTavish wants 3 scoring lines. If he gets what he wants in free agency I'd expect to see Draisaitl and Yakupov getting soft minutes together.
Big "if" though. Also depends on training camp.
Wonder what Gagner is thinking of all of this....
If you assume the first line is intact. That means that 2 of the 3, Gagner, LD and Yak play on a line together. Sounds like Sammy will play RW, so that means he's on 2 and Yak is on 3. Would you have LD center Yak or Gagner.... either way they get eaten alive.
I know that the board dumps on Gagner, but I'd like to see how Gagner would do on Draisatl's wing along with Perron. Gagner does his best work off of the cycle, and the three of them would excel at that.
Yes, yes, I know. Yakupov. Just throw the dolla billz at Kulemin and Grabovski.
